The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (Order of AHEPA) was founded on July 26, 1922, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to fight for civil rights and against discrimination, bigotry, and hatred felt at the hands of the Ku Klux Klan.
Its members are proud of their contribution to Hellenism and the promotion of Greece as a beacon of classical culture and moral values. From all over the world, we have always been commited to our values, to our people, to our brothers, to our peaceful fatherland #Greece.
Our Mission is to promote the ancient Hellenic ideals of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, family and individual excellence, through community service and volunteerism.
You are more than welcome to join us either as Greeks of the Diaspora or as Philhellenes.
The Order of AHEPA is a large family with tens of thousands of members worldwide, with more than 400 chapters across the United States, Canada, Greece, Cyprus and Europe, where the EUROPEAN SPIRIT District # 28 AHEPA EUROPE inspires our Brothers of @OrderofAhepa to spread the message of democracy, justice, human rights, respect of the freedom of each other, tolerance, volunteerism, philanthropic work and strong irrevocable commitment to promoting and defending Hellenism.
