The event “Greek-Bavarian Friendship: Tradition and Perspectives” organized by AHEPA Munich-Friedrich von Thiersch e. V. and the Otto-König-von Griechenland-Museum in Ottobrunn with lively and insightful contributions by former minister of state and Anti-semitism Commissioner for the State of Bavaria, Dr. Spaenle, the founder of the King-Otto-Museum, Prof. Dr. Murken, the museum’s director, Mrs. Tabea Förth, the professor of Modern Greek Studies at the University of Munich, Prof. Dr. Lilia Diamantopoulou and by the Member of the German Federal Parliament, Mr. Florian Hahn. A message of greeting was sent by the Member of the Greek Parliament and chairman of the parliamentary committee for Greeks in the Diaspora, Mr. Filippos Fortomas, while the event was also welcomed by the Consul General of Greece in Munich, Mr. Kodellas, the Mayor of Ottobrunn, Mr. Thomas Loderer and AHEPA’s President, Mr. Savas Tsivicos.
